Ladies who work there are always so kind. Pay very well anytime I sell there. Huge variety and selection for clothes, shoes, toys, books, and many other infant and children's things! And the prices are always great!

The prices at this location are ridiculous! $9 for a 0-3 month bodysuit when I can get a whole brand new outfit for $12 at Tjmaxx… stores like this are supposed to be catered to families who don’t have the funds to buy these items at full price. I recommend the Cedar Rapids location if you are looking for something more affordable.

I called ahead of time to ask about the selling process, how it worked and amounts that could be paid on items, and the experience I had compared to what was told over the phone was totally different. The amount I was paid for my items felt like a rip off considering how much I paid for them and how much money the store is going to make off of it. I’d highly recommend trying to sell on your own online or just donating to a school/daycare/shelter to someone that could immediately use it before selling here.

I went into Once Upon a Child to shop for some clothes for my children, including Easter outfits. I chose two items directly from the 50% off Easter table. When I got to the register, the cashier told me the items weren’t eligible for the discount because they didn’t have a sticker on the back. If the promotion depends on stickers, the store needs to clearly mark the items or not mix full-price items on a 50% off table. It felt misleading, and they refused to honor the discount. Not to mention, I had issues with this location months ago when I tried to sell gently used items. They didn’t take a single thing. I ended up taking the exact same items to another Once Upon a Child and they bought everything. I definitely won’t be coming back to this location. I already have a favorite store I shop at regularly, and I’ve never had any of these problems there. Disappointing experience all around.
